After weeks of Sick of Being Lonely on top of the Billboard charts, Torica began to emerge not only as an artist, but as a writer, penning songs for artists such Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Teairra Mari, and Monica on her Grammy nominated album Still Standing.

She soon inked a lucrative publishing deal with Warner Chappell and her longtime mentor Bryan-Michael Cox, which was facilitated by veteran music executive, Chris Hicks. Thus establishing Torica’s contribution to 2.5 million+ record sales. She currently divides her time between Atlanta and Los Angeles working with producers and writers, as well as fulfilling her role as managing partner of VNTYHair.com, a luxury beauty brand.

She understands the importance of reinvention so since the release of her debut studio album A Beautiful Mess on AOne Music Group, she’s been recreating herself and her brand of music. Recently collaborating with international DJs Franky Rizardo and Ferreck Dawn for Spinnin Records Deep House single Baby Slow Down, which has amassed almost 1 million views on YouTube and almost 1 million Soundcloud plays.

Torica has always loved and felt a connection to hip-hop, which you can hear in her music; Torica wrote Touching The Stars, a hook for Lil Snupe, who prior to his untimely death was a flagship artist signed to Meek Mill’s Dreamchaser imprint. She also wrote and featured on Taylor Gang artist Cozmo’s debut album Beyond Forever for ride or die-esque hook titled 4U.

Torica is no fly-by-night artist, her relentless work ethic and humility have led to successful achievements, but for her, this is only the beginning.
